Adam and Flappy
Rabbit joined the OZ Saferooms team in October, 2006 to launch the “OZ Kids
Korner.” “ I
created this cartoon in an effort to try and educate children about the
safety of an OZ Saferooms in the event of a tornado. I would like to thank
Fred Armstrong, Dave Puls and Mike Boas at Animatus Studio in Rochester, New
York, with their help and direction in the creation of this cartoon.” Adam Markajani started drawing at an early age. He
made Comic Books, animated
drawings in Kid Pix on an iMac computer. Adam was signed up in 2004, for an
animation class at the Penfield Recreation Center. It was there he made his
first 5 second cartoon starring his new main character, Flappy Rabbit. Ever
since then, Adam has been student at Animatus Studio in Rochester, New York,
and considered Junior Animator and is featured on their web site and in
advertising pamphlets. |

In 2006, Adam won FIRST Place in a contest held by
Bay Trail Middle School, Penfield, New York during Red Ribbon Week on
“STAYING DRUG FREE,” when he submitted a public service announcement. He is also in the process of submitting his
cartoons to the D.A.R.E. Program. Adam also
entered the Genesee Valley New York Civil Liberties Union Public Service
Announcement contest. He submitted a
one minute short PSA in 2006, based on the First Amendment. His short was shown at The Little Theater on East Avenue in Rochester, New
York where he won the “Most Creative” Award.
